As everyone knows, this area of the South (meaning Alabama and Florida) has been hit hard with unemployment in the recent years, 2001 and 2002 especially. With the rise in unemployment, we are seeing more and more people who cannot afford to have their heating & air-conditioning units repaired or replaced.

With this in mind, we have decided to start the "Church Assistance Program." The explanation is simple: Any repairs done by the church or at the home of a member of the church will be charged at the regular price. However, Harrison Heating & Air will then take 5% of the full amount of the bill (Paid) and put it in the Church Assistance Program fund at the bank.

When someone comes to the church in need of heating & air-conditioning work, the authorized signee from the church will notify Harrison Heating & Air, and we will do the repairs with the cost coming out of this fund. The fund may also be used for service work at the church or for a member of the church. The use of the funds will be left up to the church’s discretion. At any time, the church may get a statement of the donations given to the fund by their church and/or members.

If you are interested in getting involved in what we feel is a worthwhile contribution to our community, please do not hesitate to call our office at 334-588-3090 or toll free at 1-800-227-7023. We will be more than happy to set up a time for a representative from our company to come and speak to your board and or congregation to answer any questions.

Thanking you in advance for helping with this endeavor.
